暴发性心肌炎通常从感冒症状开始，迅速发展为胸闷、心悸，至恶性心律失常、心衰、心源性休克等，死亡率高。一旦诊断妊娠合并暴发性心肌炎，应迅速转诊至重症监护病房，进行免疫调节、抗心衰和抗休克治疗，严重者需要生命支持治疗，并根据孕周及胎儿宫内状况决定终止妊娠时机。
