Abstract:

Pregnancy with cardiac dysfunction is the leading non-obstetric cause of maternal mortality. Cardiac dysfunction could be caused by physiological changes during perinatal period and the obstetrical high risk factors. Serious cardiac dysfunction is called heart failure. Acute left heart failure and chronic right heart failure are common types of heart failure during pregnancy. Preventing cardiac function descent of patients with cardiac dysfunction and active remedying heart failure are helpful to ensure the maternal and neonatal safety.
