Early identification and standardized treatment of pituitary crisis during pregnancy

Abstract:

The incidence rate of panhypopititarism crisis in gestational period is not high, but once misdiagnosis or mismanagement happens will result to adverse consequences in both mothers and fetuses. Identify the risk factors, clinical symptoms and physical signs of panhypopituitarism crisis, as well as implement normalized treatment can reduce both the morbidity and mortality ratio. The quick response of doctors and nurses, sufficient team cooperation are crucial when panhypopituitarism crisis happens. Administer hormone replacement treatment and symptomatic treatments timely are the keys to reduce the adverse events in both gravida and fetus.
