Abstract:

The hypercoagulable state of pregnancy is amplified further in preeclampsia(PE). Prenatal monitoring of coagulation indicators has an important clinical significance and may assist the clinician in the prevention and management of PE. With the increased knowledge in the coagulation mechanism of PE, it has received more attention that anticoagulants such as aspirin and low molecular weight heparin can improve the prognosis of the mother and fetus in PE.

Key words: Preeclampsia, Blood coagulation, Anticoagulants
