Abstract:

Pregnancy-associated thrombocytopenia is the most common hematologic complication of pregnancy, believed to be not associated with poor perinatal outcomes. For prevention of adverse pregnancy outcomes, however, it has to be differentiated from other maternal thrombocytopenia disease in pregnancy. In this article, the authors mainly discussed the pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, monitoring during pregnancy and therapy of pregnancy-associated thrombocytopenia.
