Leukemia in pregnancy is a severe obstetric complication, threatening the life of the mother and the baby. Abnormal indexes of blood test during prenatal care should be noticed to diagnose leukemia as soon as possible. The pregnant patients with leukemia should be treated under the obstetrician and hematologist to expect better maternal and fetal outcomes. In this article, the authors discussed the diagnosis, impact on mothers and fetus, obstetric management and the ethic issue of leukemia in pregnancy.
