Management of trauma during pregnancy

Abstract

Abstract:

Trauma is the leading non-obstetric death cause of pregnant women. The common types of traumatic injuries are motor vehicle crashes, falls, domestic violence, and so on. Keeping the injured pregnant women in stable condition is the main principle of treatment. Next is immediate assessment of the fetus condition and taking measures for the trauma related complications, such as placental abruption, uterine rupture, preterm labour and fetal-maternal hemorrhage, and so on.
