Preconception consulting and management of diabetic patients

Abstract

Abstract:

Pregnancy women with diabetes mellitus have a significantly increased risk of maternal-fetal diseases, and their offspring have a higher risk of metabolic diseases. This article emphasized the importance of effective preconception consulting and management for gestational diabetes mellitus through illustrating the complications inducing by gestational diabetes mellitus. It is great significance for decreasing the incidence of maternal and fetal complication and improving the pregnancy outcome.
