Progress in etiological analysis, diagnosis and treatment of hydrops fetails

Abstract:

Hydrops fetails is a pathologic condition in the fetus characterized by extensive subcutaneous tissue edema and an accumulation of fluid in fetal compartments. The etiology and pathogenesis of hydrops fetails is complex; it is divided into immune hydrops and non-immune hydrops according to the etiology. This article discusses the advances in pathogenesis, etiology, diagnosis and treatment of hydrops fetalis.
