Abstract:

The invasive prenatal diagnosis is obtained cells from the fetus through chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cordocentesis and fetal biopsy to determine chromosomal or genetic disorders in the fetus during first trimester and second trimester, which is in order to diagnose fetal congenital disease before birth. The related complications include fetal loss, bleeding, amniotic fluid leakage, premature rupture of membranes, infection, fetal bradycardia, fetal injury and maternal complications related to the operation. Early identification and treatment of complications help to reduce the maternal-fetal risk.
