Abstract:

Recently, with the incidence of twin pregnancies sharply increased, the treatment of twin births is a challenging clinical problem. The twin pregnancy delivery mode and the timing of delivery should be considered by combining with the maternal fetal condition, the medical level of the local medical institution and the medical conditions. The normal uncomplicated monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA) twin pregnancies should plan delivery no more than 37 weeks. Dichorionic diamniotic (DCDA) twins may be conceived at up to 38 weeks. monochorionic Monoamniotic (MCMA) twin pregnancies give birth at between 32 and 33 weeks. For uncomplicated MCDA twins and DCDA twins, vaginal trials may be considered, and cesarean section is recommended for MCMA twins.
