Abstract:

Anemia is a common, frequent disease and one of the most common clinical symptoms. The latest World Health Organization (WHO) data reported that more than 30% of pregnant women worldwide are anemic. Because of its special geographical location, the incidence and degree of anemia during pregnancy in the plateau area are different from those in plain areas. There are many factors related to the incidence of anemia in pregnant women, which seriously affect mothers′ and infants′ physical and mental health, of which iron deficiency anemia is the most common. The knowledge of anemia and the rational dietary structure of the whole population should be strengthened, especially more attention should be paid to the nutritional status of pregnant women, and targeted prevention and treatment measures should be taken to reduce the prevalence of anemia in the population.
