High－intensity focused ultrasound therapy for placenta accreta

Abstract

Abstract:

Placenta accreta is one of severe obstetrical complications, which can induce postpartum hemorrhage, puerperal infection, coagulation disorders and even threaten maternal and infant lives. The management of placenta accreta is a tricky problem, and the current treatments have limitations and drawbacks. High-intensity focused ultrasound therapy is a new non-invasive technology, which has been used in many fields. This technology will be a new conservative treatment method for placenta accreta.
