早产是引起新生儿发病和死亡的重要原因,感染、多胎妊娠、胎膜早破、母体严重并发症和合并症是早产的常见病因。全球各地区的早产发生率具有明显差异,中国不同地区的早产发生率也存在差异,且医源性早产的发生率高于发达国家。控制妊娠高血压疾病、双胎妊娠和感染等疾病是降低早产发生率的重要措施。

Preterm birth is the important cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality. Infection, premature rupture of membranes, multiple pregnancy and maternal serious complication are the common causes of the preterm birth. The preterm birth rates appear remarkable difference in the world. Also, preterm birth incidence is different in different regions of China, and the incidence of iatrogenic preterm birth is higher than that in the developed countries. Intervention of the diseases such as pregnancy-induced hypertension disease, twin pregnancy and infection is helpful to reduce the premature birth incidence.
