Abstract:

Fetal-maternal hemorrhage of RhD isoimmunization is maternal antibodies of Rh-negative pregnant woman affecting the RhD red cell antigen of Rh-positive fetus, which may result in hemolytic disease of the fetus/newborn, even stillbirth. Prior to the use of anti-D immune globulin, the incidence rate of the fetus/newborn hemolytic disease is high. Implement RhD immune globulin prophylaxis normatively and monitor fetal during pregnancy carefully can led to a significant reduction in the frequency of perinatal mortality and morbidity.

Key words: Rh isoimmunization, Blood group incompatibility, Rh(D) immune globulin, Hemolysis
