Postpartum hemorrhage is a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality, and postpartum hemorrhage after caesarean delivery is also common. The previous high rate of cesarean section and the inplementation of two child policy, increase the number of high-risk pregnant women, which lead to the increasing incidence of postpartum hemorrhage and blood transfusion in obstetrics. Cell salvage is an important way of blood protection measure. The safety and effectiveness of intraoperative cell salvage in postpartum hemorrhage have been confirmed by more and more studies.
