Abstract:

Fulminant myocarditis usually begins with a cold symptom and rapidly develops into chest tightness, heart palpitations, malignant arrhythmia, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, etc., and the mortality is high. Once the pregnant patient is diagnosed with fulminant myocarditis, she should be promptly referred to the intensive care unit for immunomodulation, anti-heart failure and anti-shock treatment. In severe cases, life support treatment is needed, and the timing of termination of pregnancy is determined according to the gestational age and intrauterine fetal condition.
